PAussietivity Progress

If you've been following the PAussietivity saga, you know I changed the yellow from lemon to mustard. Then the light green bugged me. So I tried a stronger green. Original on the left, new one on the right:
auditioning light greens

Much better. I'll use the new light olive and save the mint green block for something else.

I also got all the sashing and border parts cut so I can pack them up to take on retreat Friday. I plan to get this top completed this weekend.

Now I need to get some other stuff done around the house so I can be gone all weekend....

  1. The blocks are all really cohesive together now. I hope you get everything you want accomplished and have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Your sashing fabric is perfect for your blocks! (Or your blocks are perfect with the sashing fabric!) Enjoy your time at your retreat! I look forward to seeing the completed top.
