I think any of your ideas for the LCT are good - what were you hoping for this project when you started it? I think that is a nice size for a lap quilt unless you have tall folks in your family. I love piano keys and would never say no to adding them, and of course there are plenty of prints that would make these fabrics shine. So there - I have been no help at all.
