Snake Quilt Update

Only 10 more blocks needed., 5 double arcs and five singles.

So I'll just keep plugging away at them. I'm still loving these colors.

When I get the rest of the blocks made I can play with the block placement to make sure the same fabric isn't too close to itself. And I can decide what kind of loopy effect I want; there are many potential layouts possible.

  1. The snake quilt is making progress. It'll be fun to layout this quilt. Hum, it's a lot bigger than the little snake hubby moved off the steps to my basement studio yesterday!

  5. Oddly enough, I was thinking about this quilt this morning before I opened my feedly account and discovered your blog post. I can't wait to see how you put this together. I don't remember whether you have written about whether you are going to do one or more borders or what color you are going to use for the binding. Really interesting design!
