I put the blocks for the teal project back up on the wall. This is where I'm at now:
Only three more blocks needed! They're all the 8-pointed star block (second row on the left) which uses hourglass units. I don't like making hourglass units - I have trouble getting them to come out even. I guess that's why these blocks are the last ones I still need to make.
Maybe I can get them done this month? We'll see.

I love your quilt, especially in this colorway. Good luck with your hourglass blocks.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks look great together and I hope seeing what you have left is the motivation you need to push through and make those hourglass blocks.
ReplyDeleteyou can do it!!
ReplyDeletethis is so pretty - what a great combo of colors!
Cool looking quilt. I love all the blues.
ReplyDeleteInteresting as, knock on wood, I don’t seem to have trouble with hourglass blocks……..now square in a square, that I find ridiculously difficult!
ReplyDeleteIt's always interesting to see how different quilts look in other colorways. Good luck with the blocks this month.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely quilt...If you only do one block a week you'll be done in 3 weeks... just barely into July. And think how beautiful it will be with those 3 little blocks added!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful use of teal.
