FG Baby Quilt Top Done

Progress continues on the flying geese baby quilt. The top is complete, now it's ready to be layered for quilting.
Flying Geese Baby Quilt Top, about 42" x 45"

This photo was taken very early this morning with the sun just over the horizon and glowing on the garage door, so the colors look warmer than they are in real life.

  1. Love it! The squares in the border really added an interesting textural contrast.

  2. Great design for a baby quilt! And the colors are so nice, too. I agree with the comment above....the square border really adds more interest to the top and moves the eye around the quilt.

  4. Great design - some of the old 'simple' blocks still make beautiful quilts :-)

  5. The quilt top looks great; I like the thin border outside of the flying geese and I really like the shapes made in the background by the flying geese changing directions in each column.
