A Good Christmas

We had a good Christmas, and I hope you did too. Family, friends, and good food.

I can now reveal the last minute secret sewing (previous post below): Christmas potholders for my nieces. Actually I forgot to photograph them all before I wrapped them up, so I grabbed a snapshot of two of them after the recipient opened the gift. I ended up making five of each print. Cute and modern, and they go with the girls' kitchens!

Since these are a finish, I'm linking up with Friday Finish at Crazy Mom Quilts and Whoop Whoop Friday at Confessions of a Fabric Addict.

  1. I really like the striped binding you used for them. :) Merry Christmas!

  2. Such a cute set of potholders! I also made some oven mitts for gifts this year.

  3. lovely potholders...
hope you had a wonderful Christmas..... we did, went to friends for dinner, and it was a nice day.
i too made potholders (or hotpads)
funny.... how it goes, in this case i think i would have been better off buying some "thing" at walmar t.
    ...different stitches for different witches?????
anyway, i had fun making them....
