A photo post...
Christmas Eve with the extended family:
Maddie liked her doll.
She immediately had to show her mom
the doll and all the clothes.
Her mom loved their family's quilt.
So did little brother Tyler, who grabbed it and snuggled up with it.
Everyone else liked their quilts, and M and D liked their pillows,
but I wasn't able to get photos in all the Christmas chaos.
Christmas Day and Monday at our house:
Grandson CJ at 22 months
The latch board was a big hit, as expected.
He still fits in grandma's sleigh, but not for much longer.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
That's one happy little girl! Good job, Jan.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a lot of fun - the quilt is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very happy Christmas. It's always such a good feeling when people love and appreciate those gifts that came from the sewing room. Hope you've got some time now to get in more stitching before the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful that the gifts were well received. It looks like a lovely time and I'm so glad you got to enjoy the company of family. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI'm finally catching up in reading blogs and am so delighted to see how much Maddie loves her doll! I poured over all the photos in your summary post of Gracie's entire wardrobe. You made the best gift ever, and Maddie will never forget this special Christmas. What a project you tackled. I'm so glad to have been able to follow along and NOT do all the fiddly doll clothing sewing myself :)
